How can I change the nameservers on my domain?
If you wish to change the nameservers, you can do so by following the steps below through your Istanco account.
Please note: The Domain Lock must be disabled for the specific domain in order to modify the nameservers.
Please note2: Changing nameservers is not instant on all domain extensions. If you don't see the change immediately, please wait. Repeatedly entering the changes will only slow down the process.
-
Log in to your Istanco account: https://www.istanco.com/clientarea.php
-
Click "Manage Domains" to access the My Domains section.
-
Click the wrench icon next to the domain and then select Registrar Lock.
-

-
Go to the Nameservers tab.
-
Select "Use custom nameservers" and enter your desired nameservers in the appropriate fields.
-
Click "Change Nameservers" to apply the changes.
The new nameservers will typically become active within 24 hours (most often within 4 to 12 hours).
